‘Visibility for your research: open access and publication support’

Online seminar for interested researchers

Open Access refers to free and unrestricted access to academic publications. Publishing via Open Access promotes transparency and traceability in research and increases the visibility of research findings. It also promotes the discoverability, accessibility and reusability of scientific output and can foster exchange, efficiency and innovation.
This talk will outline the key aspects of Open Access and explain how an Open Access publication works, what options are available, and what you, as a researcher, need to bear in mind. Funding opportunities at the BTU and in Brandenburg will also be presented.

Speaker: Charlotte Meixner, IKMZ University Library
