BTU and Lausitz Science Park present innovation potential at Hannover Messe 2026

For the first time, the BTU project "Lausitz Science Park" will have its own stand at the joint stand of the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region at the Hannover Messe from April 20 to 24.

Start-ups and companies already associated with the future science and technology park will present their latest technologies and innovative services in the fields of decarbonisation and the energy transition, transformation processes, AI and sensor technology - including sustainable energy systems, agile manufacturing methods, modern lightweight construction, industrial drones and AI solutions.

Energy will be at the centre of this year's joint stand - with a focus on innovative technologies, sustainable supply solutions and forward-looking partnerships along the entire industrial value chain. Lusatia, one of the most dynamic regions undergoing structural change and the first Net Zero Valley in Europe, will be a particular focal point. A new energy landscape with national appeal is emerging here: with real-world laboratories, hydrogen projects, industrial cooperation and innovation centres. The joint stand at HANNOVER MESSE aims to provide insights into specific projects, collaborations and investment opportunities in this region of the future.

In addition, the conference programme offers the opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing industry at an international level in times of high energy costs and global supply chain problems. The topics of competitiveness and sustainability will take centre stage. In addition to the lecture programme, showcases and exhibitions from all areas of the industry, there are additional formats.

If you are curious, then visit us between April 20 and 24, 2026 in Hanover at the exhibition grounds, in hall 12 at stand E41.
