The BTU Debate Club invites you to a basic debating training (in German and English) on Saturday, June 3, 2023 - for a better culture of argument and discussion at the BTU!

In the context of this event we want to explore the concept of participation in the tension between participation and co-determination.

The topic of socio-ecological transformation as a way out of the multiple crises of our time is on everyone's lips. The BTU Cottbus sees itself as a companion and co-designer of transformative processes in the region. The event will present and reflect on two current transformation projects in Brandenburg with a focus on social participation. ZHG/ Room 3

How diverse is the East? The example of Cottbus. Currently, the debate about East and West Germany is (once again) controversial. But who is actually considered East German and who West German? And which experiences are left out?

The exhibition marks the conclusion of the research project "Architecture Transformed - Architectural Processes in Digital Image Space", which was a collaboration between the German Documentation Center for Art History - Bildarchiv Foto Marburg and the Chair of Architecture and Visualization at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg.
