Konference — Rhythmus Messy Cambio

Olivier Rossel organized and held a conference in Kunstraum in Basel. The aim was to find out what roller skating dancing, notating body performance with roller skates has to do with reading, chaos, tacit knowledge etc.. Mathis Vass is an artist and roller skater who dances according to drawings of a notation system he developed.

From the Senftenberg Fairy Tale Days to the DLR_School_Lab at the BTU

As one of the institutions that make Senftenberg particularly colorful and worth living in, the BTU was also called upon to donate a prize as part of the 28th Senftenberg Fairy Tale Days, which took place from March 15 to 17, 2023, under the motto "Fairy Tales as Colorful as Senftenberg."

Three BTU students are among the winners of this year's Schinkel Competition.

In the "Urban Design" category, Stella Motz and Julius Rymarcewicz received the Schinkel Prize for their design "Quartier 104". Mahlaga Fahami, together with Abu Sayeed Mohammed Ziad and Pubali Kumar (Anhalt University of Applied Sciences), was awarded the 3rd Diesing Prize of the Karl Friedrich Schinkel Foundation in the "Architecture" category for their design "In-Between".

Coal phase-out = water shortage? Second Lausitz Water Conference

The Federal Environment Agency has commissioned (UBA) an investigation into how high the future water shortage in the Lausitz rivers will be. One thing is certain: The available water in the region will not be sufficient in the future to meet all needs without adjustments. We spoke to Dr. Volker Preuß from the Department of Water Technology and Sanitary Engineering.
