Quality of life in old age - think tank for good ageing in rural areas

In future, those affected will work together with BTU scientists at the practical research centre in Cottbus to find out how mobility, social integration into society and the health of older people can be improved. The launch ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 9 September 2025 at 3.30 pm in the "Startblock B2" start-up centre.

Interdisciplinary learning - innovative FÜS modules at BTU: "Healthy and social living spaces of the future"

General Studies (FÜS) offers students the opportunity to look beyond the boundaries of their chair. At BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, one of these modules is called "Healthy and social living spaces of the future".

The excursion on the topic of cultural spaces started at the Sorbian cultural information centre LODKA in Cottbus. Here, seminar supervisor Marco Dippner first introduced the topic.

Order of Merit for a pioneer of high-frequency technology

Prof. Dr Ulrich L. Rohde is an honorary professor, honorary senator and fund of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. He has been awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit for his outstanding commitment to science, teaching and business. Prof. Rohde is an internationally recognised expert in high-frequency and microwave technology.

New Master's qualifies extra-occupationally for public administration
