Risk assessment is a procedure for systematically identifying and assessing the hazards and stresses to which employees are exposed as a result of their working conditions. The risk assessment defines protective measures, organises their implementation and monitors their effectiveness. The results must be documented in a suitable form.
The aim of this process is to recognise potential hazards and stresses for employees and students at work at an early stage and to counteract them preventively, i.e. before they become negatively noticeable.

The result of the risk assessment to be documented must, in particular, contain the identified hazards for which there is a need for action based on the result of the assessment. The sample hazard assessments/templates can be used for this purpose
