Dr. Francesc Rodriguez: “How to talk about ‘nature’? "

In this lecture, titled “How to talk about ‘nature’? (with some considerations from Ukraine),” Francesc presented a historical and cultural account of the concept of ‘nature’ to 60 students and other members of the academic community of the university, relating it to socio-environmental aspects of the current war in Ukraine. The website also shows that the content of this lecture is part of a course of the Chair of Technoscience Studies that was recently awarded the Lehrpreis 2023 at the Brandenburg University of Technology. Francesc’s visit to NUBiP is part of his broader work in the country, which includes ethnographic observations in areas affected by flooding due to the war.
