Aminophosphonates & Environment

First international symposium on aminophosphonates

We say thank you to all participants in 2024

The inaugural international symposium on the subject of 'Aminophosphonates' was held at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg on the 1st and 2nd of October 2024. In addition to the 40 participants, 16 scientific lectures and 6 poster contributions were presented. The poster prize was awarded to Ms Lisa Engelbart from the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and Dr Oliver Happel from TZW Karlsruhe. We extend our warmest congratulations to them.

The two-day symposium, held at the beginning of October 2024, provided a forum for intensive knowledge exchange among scientists, as well as with authorities, users and industry representatives. The numerous discussions held during the scheduled intermissions, the laboratory tour, the poster session and the gala dinner will be cherished recollections.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen, the Technical University Berlin, the University Duisburg-Essen, the Technical University Cologne, the University Köthen, the Charles University Prague and the King Abdullah University of Saudi Arabia for their considerable representation from the academic sector. Furthermore, we would like to express our gratitude to the employees of TZW Karlsruhe, the UBA, the BWB, the LWG Cottbus and the numerous representatives of industry.

We are pleased to announce that the baton will be passed for a second international symposium in two years' time, when the theme will once again be "Aminophosphonates & Environment".
