CreativeOpenLab (COLab) supports projects from research and the region

We are here for your idea! The new Makerspace on campus is already being requested by many BTU chairs for the implementation of a wide variety of research projects.

The COLab was able to support the implementation of the demonstrator in the research project of the "Polymer-based Lightweight Construction" department for the development of a lightweight crane. Regional associations such as the "Verein Fürst Pückler in Branitz e.V." have also benefited from the technology and expertise available at COLab. This month, for example, the first 3D-printed Pückler Star was awarded to members for special achievements.

Anyone who would like to use COLab for their research idea can contact Anke Donnnerstag (Integration in Teaching & Research) by email: Anke.Donnerstag(at)b-tu.de or use the open.COLab.day. to talk to our experts without registering. The open.COLab.day. takes place every Wednesday from 10am-6pm.

COLab is a structural change project of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and a sub-project of Startup Revier EAST.
