Summary of the project results
The aim of the project was to create an independent housing counseling service in both districts that is free of charge for those seeking advice. To this end, people were trained in two successive modules to provide housing counseling in line with future needs and to provide individual counseling to those seeking advice as well as support for adaptation measures. At the same time, cooperation was established with politicians, interest groups and the administration in order to jointly search for suitable forms of standard financing.
