A brand new range of multidisciplinary courses offers EUNICE students the opportunity to benefit from the expertise of ten European universities and to personalise their educational path.

Can art help to create social bonds and a shared connection to cultural heritage? Niloofar Soleymani from the international World Heritage Studies study programme at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) addresses this question in her master's thesis.

40 EUNICE participants divided into 11 multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, 13 online workshops, a summer school and a tech hackathon – this diverse programme was offered from 14 March to 4 July this year by the Entrepreneurship Lab (E-Lab) at our partner university, the University of Catania in Italy.

From 4 to 6 July, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) invited scholarship holders from all over the world to Berlin to celebrate 100 years of the DAAD together. BTU doctoral student and DAAD scholarship holder Ms Freda Adiali had the unique opportunity to exchange ideas with DAAD President Prof. Dr. Joybrato Mukherjee and Foreign Minister Dr. Johann Wadephul.

As part of the BIDS project, school pupils from Poland, Romania and Turkey took part in the trial study programme and got to learn about different degree programmes at the BTU.

A summer workout session on campus took a fun and unexpected turn last week when a student brass band of 50 musicians from our partner university Linköping University showed up unannounced — and turned the event into an impromptu party.
