Internships for students and graduates with Erasmus+

Here you can find out everything you need to know about an internship, a research stay or preparing your thesis or dissertation abroad during your studies or shortly after your graduation. On our website you will find detailed information on funding opportunities, the application steps and much more. In total, students can be funded for up to 36 months for studies and/or internships:
  • up to 12 months in bachelor, master and doctoral study cycles
  • or up to 24 months in single study cycles (diploma courses, state examinations, medical or theological examinations, etc.) and additionally up to 12 months in the doctoral study cycle
  • The funding can be divided up and used several times within a study cycle (e.g. for two 6-month periods).
Internship duration:
  • at least two months and a maximum of twelve months
  • Funding possible for up to twelve months

Important note on the Erasmus grant:
Erasmus funding for internships is a grant and does not cover the entire cost of an internship. Nevertheless, it is a valuable financial support for your experience abroad.
