Bachelor Thesis

The Bachelor thesis is written during the 6th semester. The workload for the thesis is equivalent to 360 hours of work.

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to identify a problem within the relevant subject area and to develop a solution within a limited timeframe and using specified resources. Additionally, the candidate should show an understanding of the broader context of the field, place specific issues within that context, and be proficient in the standard methodologies of the discipline.

The Bachelor thesis forms part of the examination process. Through this work, the student should demonstrate the ability to address a defined task—under supervision, yet independently and competently—and to offer practical insights related to the thesis topic.

The Bachelor thesis may be either practical or theoretical in nature. It should reflect the advanced level of knowledge expected in the field and typically address issues relevant to professional practice. The Bachelor thesis comprises both a written report and an oral defense.
