Publication of the final report on the VASiB project

A BTU study shows that decentralised accommodation for refugees in Brandenburg is possible and has been shown to offer them advantages over living in collective accommodation. Nevertheless, the state continues to house refugees predominantly in collective accommodation. This is shown in the final report on the VASiB collaborative project by the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.

Last week, there was an arson attack in Cottbus on the “Zelle 79” housing project, which put people’s lives at risk. That same night, an arson attack was carried out on the Chekov youth club, and the following night, the windows of the community center “Der grüne Laden” were smashed and a rainbow flag was stolen.
