Colonial and Socialist Traces in the Present

A guided city tour organized by the chair of intercultural studies. Meeting: July 16th, 2019, 3 p.m. at the Oberkirche (church at Altmarkt) Cottbus. The tour will be guided in German.

As a result of the project based seminar "Cottbus post-colonial and post socialist", conducted by the chair for intercultural studies, we offer a historico-politcal tour through Cottbus on July 16th, 2019. The study project is a contribution to re-construct the history of colonial and socialist practices and forms of knowledge. It aims to improve comprehension of their current articulations. With this guided city tour, we also aim at taking a stand against racism in Cottbus.
