During the “Nanobiotechnology” internship, students learn about research methods that are often used in nanobiotechnology, e.g. with regard to: surface characterization and modification of sensor surfaces, as well as experimental techniques for production, modification and characterization of nanoparticles. Furthermore, the students get an insight into the production and characterization of liposomes, the application of plasmonic effects to investigate the interaction of biomolecules and evaluation of artificially generated lipid systems.
