Creating (Imperial) New Delhi: Factors and Actors

Smriti Pant has been invited to present a guest lecture at the Center for Metropolitan Studies, Technical University Berlin on 31st January 2018.

Using the case study of creation of (Imperial) New Delhi, the DFG Research Training Group doctoral student will contribute the Asian perspective to the Winter Semester 2017/18 seminar “Global Perspectives on Geographies of City Production and Its Actors”.

The seminar has been organised for students of the Historical Urban Studies Master’s Programme at the Center for Metropolitan Studies, Technical University (TU) Berlin by Dr.-Ing. Noa K. Ha, coordinator of CMS and the DFG-funded International Graduate Research Program – Berlin – New York – Toronto (2012–2018).

Smriti Pant’s lecture will be held on 31.01.2018 from 10:00 to 12:00 in HBS 103, Centre for Metropolitan Studies, TU Berlin (Hardenbergstraße 16-18, 10623 Berlin).
