First-hand experience: Architecture alumna Liudmila Ivannikova answers questions about career and studies

For the young architect, exchange and discourse are an important basis for creativity and new ideas. Particularly when it comes to making decisions, such as what to study, conversations, the opportunity to ask questions and experience can help. Liudmila can still remember very clearly which questions moved her. Now she offers herself as a discussion partner, she says: "Students of my home university BTU and prospective students are welcome to ask me their questions about studies and work. Liudmila Ivannikova is convinced that many of the foundations for her later career and the ability to do so are laid during her studies: "The positive atmosphere at work, the open way of communicating, the solution-oriented attitude - I learned all of these things beyond the subject matter during my studies. You can do anything with diligence. That has shaped my outlook on life. For that, I'm grateful to the professors, tutors and fellow students at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg."

Liudmila's latest project is called "German for Architects." The online course will be released in fall 2022. "The technical language is something very special. When two professionals talk to each other, the third person doesn't understand anything. That's why I created a community where motivated planners can find useful information about everyday work and learn the technical language at the same time. "Non-native speakers" also get the opportunity to improve their language skills."
