Communicate architecture

From landscape architecture and urban planning to planning, design and use - on Friday, May 6, 2022, a continuing education program for architects and architectural mediators will start at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.

The continuing education program "Architectural Mediation" enables participants to introduce interested laypersons to architecture and the built environment, to open them up sensually and intellectually, and to develop competence in action. Prof. Dr. phil. Dr. Ing. Eduard Führ, honorary professor for architectural education at the BTU's Department of Art History and a long-standing expert in this field, will present various concepts of architectural education. The basis is formed by the immediate living environments such as school, the residential quarter, work or the inner city.

Time: Friday, May 6, 2022, 1-6 p.m.; June 10 and June 17, 2022
Venue: Lehrgebäude 2B (LG 2B), Zentralcampus, Konrad-Wachsmann-Allee 4, 03046 Cottbus
Fee: 1100 euros (incl. VAT).

The offer is aimed at architects, teachers, educators and independent architectural mediators. Participation is possible without admission requirements. The further education offer is recognized by the Brandenburg Chamber of Architects as a certificate of further education.

The one-day seminar on May 6 is the introduction to the continuing education program. The subsequent advanced seminars from May 13 to August 21, 2022 consist of classroom and online phases.
