With the trial study to the individual desired subject

From Tuesday to Friday, June 28 to July 1, 2022, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) will be offering "Try first, then study". Pupils from the 10th to 13th grades, as well as all other prospective students, are invited to take part in a trial study program.

The three- to four-day events provide an opportunity to learn in depth about the content of the individual degree programs at the three major BTU locations - the Cottbus Central Campus, the Cottbus-Sachsendorf Campus and the Senftenberg Campus - and to convince yourself of the excellent study conditions. The focus is on both established and new courses of study, such as "Artificial Intelligence" and "Artificial Intelligence Technology".

Topics such as application and enrollment characterize the program, as do study processes, later career fields and opportunities. In addition to some "real" lectures, the trial program includes special lectures for students, laboratory tours, excursions, discussions with students and professors - in other words, an "all-around study program" that helps students decide on the most suitable field of study. Alumni - i.e. former students of the BTU - report on their professional careers. The social program includes a guided tour of the city, a barbecue and beach volleyball, providing an opportunity to continue the exchange of ideas.

Participation in the trial program, for which 160 registrations have already been received, is free of charge. Interested parties have until Monday, June 27, to register. Further information, the complete program as well as the on-line registration possibility for the trial study give it under: https://www.b-tu.de/probestudium. Here you will also find information and contacts regarding any overnight accommodations that may be required.
