Industry 4.0 - Innovative Solutions in Production and Logistics

At an event on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, the Efficient Factory Center of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) will show how digitization can also be implemented by small and medium-sized enterprises.

Industry 4.0 is based on digital networking along the entire value chain. For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), this topic often seems too complex, too time-consuming, too opaque and too cost-intensive. If you want to be competitive in the long term, you have to digitize your processes. But what solutions are also available for SMEs? What makes sense and how do you get started?

Under the title "Industry 4.0 - Innovative Solutions in Production and Logistics", participants will learn more about holistic digitization strategies, efficient process optimization, augmented reality applications and the digital twin in expert presentations, field reports and live demonstrations. Concrete technologies and latest developments in the industry as well as examples of the implementation of these technologies in small and medium-sized enterprises will provide insight into innovative factory planning and operations.

Date: Tuesday, September 27, 2022, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Location: Center Efficient Factory, Building 7.118, Multipurpose Building Rundbau (Building 7), Campus Senftenberg, Großenhainer Straße 60, 01968 Senftenberg All interested parties are cordially invited. The flat fee per person is 60 Euro net plus VAT. Please use this link for participant registration. The event is supported by the Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft.

The Center Efficient Factory of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg bundles innovations and sees itself as a transformer on the topic of digitalization and Industry 4.0. The model factory at the location in Senftenberg presents an exemplary landscape of innovative technologies in the areas of factory planning and factory operation, which are intended to help manufacturing companies achieve new ideas and greater process efficiency.
