Internationale Tagung: Participation in social work. Theory, Research and Practice

Participation, understood as participation within the framework of the possibilities and needs of all, is more than just co-determination. It requires perception, cooperation and understanding, rather than selection from externally imposed choices. This applies to children as well as adults, on an individual level as well as on a structural and societal level. The concept needs to be addressed at all levels of social work theory, research and practice.

The conference "Participation in Social Work. Theory, Research and Practice" is part of the DAAD HAW funded project "HAW International", which runs in the field of social work at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg from the end of 2019 until fall 2023.
