Invitation to the 2nd Brandenburg Science Slam in Spremberg

On Friday, June 16, 2023, the second round of the Brandenburg Science Slam will take place at Spremberg's Spreekino, hosted by the presence offices of Brandenburg's universities. With this entertaining format, scientists and science enthusiasts bring their research topics to the stage in an easily understandable and entertaining way in a maximum of ten minutes each.

The audience chooses the best slammer. In Spremberg, the following science enthusiasts will present their topics on stage:

  • Katharina Noatschk, BTU MINT Ambassador
  • Dr. Robert Scheffler, BTU Academic Staff Member, Discrete Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science
  • Thomas Hitziger, Academic Staff BTU, Construction Mechanics and Numerical Methods
  • Prof. Rolf Socher, Department of Computer Science & Media, Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences
  • Hanne Hermann Master student "Sustainable Regional Development" and member of the buddy team of the University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde (HNEE)
  • Annette Kaufhold, teacher for biology, fine arts and theater at the Bernhardinum Fürstenwalde

Christian Risse from lausitz.tv, also known from Radio Cottbus , will lead through the entertaining evening. The whole is framed with the music of the Fritzsche jazz quartet. Admission to the Spreekino is free of charge.
