Ceremonial enrolment and opening of the academic year

On Monday, October 9, 2023, the members of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) will welcome their new students during the ceremonial enrolment. The ceremony also opens the new academic year 2023/2024. First-year students, parents, friends and students are cordially invited to attend.

Festive, colorful and student-friendly at the same time - this is how the BTU welcomes its new students in the academic year 2023/24! All those who want to be there will celebrate together with the university management, representatives of the cities of Senftenberg and Cottbus, the first-year students, their parents and guests in the heart of the city of Cottbus, in the Stadthalle.

Ticket booking

To participate in the event, it is necessary to book a ticket. First-year students must also book a ticket if they wish to attend.

The online portal is already closed. Remaining boxes will be available on site (Stadthalle, Berliner Platz 6, Cottbus) at the Stadthalle ticket shop on 9 October 2023, 10am-4pm, while tickets are still available.
