Students invite to the Snowflake Ball at BTU

On Saturday, January 13, 2024, there will be a celebration in the canteen on the BTU Campus Senftenberg. In addition to students and university staff, external guests from the city and the region are also very welcome. Interested parties can now secure their tickets online.

Guests at the Snowflake Ball can expect a colorful program in a festive atmosphere. Admission begins at 4 p.m. with a juice and champagne reception. At 5 pm, the Mayor of Senftenberg Andreas Pfeiffer, BTU Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer Prof. Dr. Michael Hübner and Kassandra Seltrecht and Ronja Tittel as representatives of the student councils will introduce the ball with their welcoming speeches.

The  program of the Snowflake Ball includes live music from 6 pm with the
duo Sax-o-flute. An hour later, a DJ will be playing classical dances such as the waltz and disco fox. This is followed by a party in a relaxed atmosphere from 10 pm, which is planned until 2 am.

Guests are requested to wear evening dress. Snacks will be available free of charge to satisfy small appetites, and drinks can be purchased for a small price.

The Snowflake Ball is organized by the student councils at BTU's Campus Senftenberg - led by the Biotechnology and Materials Chemistry student council with support from the Therapy Sciences, Electrical and Medical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering student councils.
