"KNOWLEDGE FOR ALL" with the guest student program

Information event on current courses, workshops and excursions at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg for all interested parties: Wednesday, April 10, 2024, 2 p.m., Campus Senftenberg, Konrad Zuse Media Center

From a writing workshop with the writer Franziska Steinhauer, a library rally to search for literature, courses on literature and theater or the examination of current issues of our time - the "open university" offers those thirsty for knowledge a broad spectrum to shape personal learning paths. Cultural partnerships with important institutions in the region and exciting excursions expand the range of courses on offer. In selected seminars, guest auditors can attend lectures together with students and keep their knowledge up to date.

The guest student program supports lifelong learning and is an integral part of the intergenerational campus at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. The open university brings together students, professionals and people who want to continue their education after graduation. Every semester, a wide range of courses, workshops, project groups and excursions offer a variety of opportunities for further education in individual areas of knowledge at the university. Participants study without examinations or pressure to perform. There are no age restrictions or admission requirements. In addition to imparting knowledge, it is important to offer opportunities for social exchange and to open up spaces for ideas.
