Networking and jobs at the campus-X-change 2024
Traditionally, more than 100 companies and institutions use the campus-X-change recruiting fair at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) to meet young people who are interested in a job or internship. Academic specialists from all disciplines are urgently needed. The fair is also a good opportunity for anyone interested, in particular school pupils, to find out about careers, jobs that are particularly in demand and job prospects. Visitors can find numerous job offers on the campus-X-change job wall.
All interested parties are cordially invited. Admission is free.
In the foyer of the Central Lecture Hall Building (ZHG) and in the large exhibition tent on the forum, exhibition stands from companies from almost all sectors will be set up. Interested parties have the opportunity to make appointments with employers in advance via a matching platform platform. The exhibition stands can also be visited spontaneously. For direct contact with HR and project managers, it has proven useful to bring a CV with you. In addition to individual prospects for their professional future, the companies also offer numerous internships and working student positions as well as opportunities for graduates.
BTU President Prof. Gesine Grande says: "Our campus-X-change has established itself as the largest job fair for academic professionals in the state of Brandenburg. - What's more, it has become an extremely successful platform for our students and graduates to make contact with companies and research institutions. Many new jobs and internships are created here locally as a result of new settlements and structural change projects. The unbroken high demand from companies and institutions is reflected in the number of more than 100 exhibitors. Directly on campus, we offer them interested and excellently trained junior staff to counter the shortage of skilled workers and to master the successful transformation in Lusatia and beyond. I would like to thank everyone involved at BTU and our partners for their dedicated support of our recruiting fair."
Since 2002, the campus-X-change recruiting fair has offered companies an excellent platform for recruiting skilled workers in direct contact with students and graduates of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Visitors have the opportunity to get to know potential employers and numerous career options in an informal fair atmosphere.
A good half of the companies and institutions come from the region. In addition to numerous small and medium-sized companies, 2024 will include the Carl-Thiem-Klinikum, BASF, Deutsche Bahn with the Cottbus maintenance plant, Kjellberg Finsterwalde and LEAG. Research institutions such as the German Aerospace Center, the Leibniz-Institute for Innovations for High Performance Electronics (IHP) from Frankfurt (Oder) and the Zukunft-Umwelt-Gesellschaft (ZUG) will also be represented at the traditional job fair. The German Energy Agency, Birkenstock and Albert-Schweitzer Familienwerk will also be taking part for the first time.
