Focus on feedback from BTU employees: New impetus for our internal training program

Respondents from all age groups and from all areas of activity and employment groups at BTU took part.

Overall, we can emphasize that 90% of the votes are aware of the internal continuing education program and 44% of the votes have participated in a continuing education course in the last summer semester 2023 and/or in the winter semester 2023/2024. The main reasons for participation were the topics and content covered in the training events for professional activities and closing knowledge gaps. Reasons for non-participation varied, with a lack of matching of specific needs and interests being highlighted in particular. Other reasons include time constraints and other commitments as well as the use of other offers or the short period of employment at BTU. When selecting further education courses, professional and personal interest in the topic came first and second, followed by the topicality of the topics, local flexibility and the event format.

Over the next few weeks, we will be working on a detailed evaluation of the results and identifying focal points for further program planning. We will inform you at regular intervals about the evaluations and key areas for action.

We are currently planning the new program for the winter semester 2024/25 and will incorporate initial suggestions from our internal BTU evaluation.
