Creativity, innovation and experimentation at the Institute of Architecture

The Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Urban Planning invites all interested parties to take a tour of studios and buildings on Friday, 9 August 2024, from 12 noon. Student projects from the end of the summer semester will be presented. The students' designs will provide an insight into studying and teaching at the Institute of Architecture

For prospective students and anyone interested in Architecture, design methods and construction planning, next Friday's event is the perfect opportunity to find out more about working on student projects and studying at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.

It's worth taking a look behind the scenes: the focus is on the subjects of Architecture and History of Art and Architecture. Students present the results of their current work from the past summer semester as part of public tours of seminar rooms, the drawing room and studios. It will become clear how creative and innovative studying and working in the field of Architecture can be. Professors, teaching staff and fellow students will be present. Designs, sketches, models and works from various workshops will be on display. There will also be an opportunity to find out more about study conditions and the course of study or to talk to students and lecturers.
