Smarter overnight: BTU invites you to the Night of Creative Minds at the IKMZ

The BTU is once again helping to organise the Night of Creative Minds in Cottbus with a diverse and exciting programme. "Technology and Sustainability" is the motto of this year's event.

ATTENTION: This year BTU is presenting itself in the impressive university library (IKMZ) and not in the Audimax. We invite everyone to our award-winning library. In the building designed by the famous architects Herzog & de Meuron, you will find a colourful programme to marvel at and explore on all floors.

- There are over 20 stations to explore in the IKMZ

- We also offer regular BTU laboratory tours that start in front of starting block B2 and provide insights into energy topics

- 20 locations are taking part in the NdkK, including our partners and projects such as CHESCO, DLR - Institute for Low CO2 Industrial Processes, DLR - Institute of Electrified Aviation and the CreativeOpenLab (COLab) in starting block B2

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE PROGRAMME

  • IKMZ | 18.00-24.00 | Design your news programme with AI
Camera work, direction and moderation: Design your news report with AI and our technology. Whether it's a cool background or extravagant text. Many things are possible with AI; sometimes even the impossible.
  • IKMZ (outside) | 19.00 | Tea light fire - danger and safety
The tea light fire demonstration shows the energy and unpredictability of a fire. At the same time, attention will be drawn to practical safety aspects so that your tea does not turn into a fire disaster.
  • IKMZ | 18.00-24.00 | Cottbus' largest marble run
On the large physical marble run with motors, robot arms and electronics, you can test your dexterity, play, be amazed and, of course, become smarter again overnight.
