The best students and doctoral candidates of the Faculty of Business, Law and Society
The Dean's List is awarded annually to recognise outstanding achievements by students and doctoral candidates. In a festive setting, nine Bachelor's students, three Master's students and three doctoral students were honoured for their outstanding academic achievements. The event, which took place at the Information, Communication and Media Centre (IKMZ), attracted numerous guests, including professors and family members of the award winners.
Prof. Dr David Müller, Dean of Faculty 5, opened the event and welcomed the award winners and guests. In his opening speech, he gave the prizewinners some suggestions for their future careers. Dr Matthias Kaiser, Chancellor of Coburg University of Applied Sciences and alumnus of the faculty, then shared valuable insights and experiences from his periods of study to his current position with those present in an impressive personal retrospective. He gave the students and doctoral candidates valuable tips for their future.
The winners of the various Faculty 5 study programmes were presented with a certificate by the Dean of Faculty 5 in recognition of their outstanding achievements. The presentation took place in a festive and musical atmosphere in the presence of Philipp Knapczyk, branch manager of Sparkasse (Schweriner Straße, Cottbus).

In addition to honouring these achievements, the event provided a platform for networking and an opportunity for students and alumni to exchange ideas in a relaxed setting with a champagne reception and buffet.
