Shaping ageing well

Launch of a practical research centre Cottbus/Chóśebuz on Tuesday, 9 September 2025, in the foyer of the "Startblock B2" start-up centre

Like many regions, the Spree-Neisse region and the city of Cottbus are getting older and older. Demographic change poses new questions about how we live together, but also brings with it opportunities for creative and co-operative solutions. The event "Shaping ageing well (together)" is the start of a practical research centre in Cottbus that aims to bring science, civil society and practitioners in the region closer together. Instead of a ceremonial opening, the focus will be on dialogue: with a market of opportunities, cool drinks and inspiring conversations.
