Travelling exhibition provides information on EU funding in the federal state of Brandenburg

A travelling exhibition on EU funding in Brandenburg is touring the state and stopping off in various regions of Brandenburg during the 2021-2027 funding period. The first stop of the newly designed presentation is the BTU on Campus Senftenberg.

The exhibition, which was commissioned by the Brandenburg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate Protection, informsabout the EU funding programmes European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Just Transition Fund (JTF).

It follows on from the previous exhibition on ERDF funding, which has been on display at over 50 exhibition venues since 2009. The travelling exhibition has been redesigned for the current funding period and supplemented with content on the JTF. It is designed in such a way that visitors can explore the interactive elements independently.

The travelling exhibition clearly shows how EU funding is used in Brandenburg - be it for infrastructure projects, innovative business support or sustainable development measures. Twelve large exhibition panels provide basic information on funding priorities, the EU's structural and investment funds in general and cross-border funding together with Poland.

Part of the travelling exhibition is the traditional St. Hubertusklause inn in Senftenberg as a local example. The JTF funding supported the revitalisation of one of the town's oldest houses and enabled a new interior design. Today, the place is once again a lively meeting place - for eating, celebrating, bowling or simply spending time together.
