Application deadlines for studying in the summer semester 2026

The portals are open for young people who would like to apply for a Master's programme at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) in particular. Applications for the Economathematics Bachelor's study programme are also possible for the summer semester.

Master's study programmes

Applicants with a German Master's entrance qualification can apply for the desired study programme. This applies equally to students who are or were already enrolled at one of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg locations and would like to apply for a Master's study programme or a change of study programme.

Please note the following deadlines:

Applicants who have obtained their last admission authorisation for studying abroad and would like to apply for a Master's study programme can do so until 15 January 2026.

For applications from citizens of a member state of the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), this deadline has been extended to 15 February 2026.

Bachelor's degree programme in Economathematics or change of degree programme to a higher degree-related semester

Applicants with a German higher education entrance qualification
until 1 March 2026

Applicants with a foreign higher education entrance qualification
until 15 January 2026

For applicants with citizenship of a member state of the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), this deadline has been extended to 15 February 2026.
