"Science Meets School" makes you want to learn about science and engineering

Exciting insights into practical research work and future-oriented study programmes await pupils in years 11 to 13 from Tuesday to Thursday, 27 to 29 January 2026, at the Cottbus main campus of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).

Multifaceted workshop programme

There is great interest in thediverse natural sciences and engineering programme. There are still a few places available for the workshop programme on 27 and 28 January. For those still interested in taking part, registration for the final day of the current "Science meets school" orientation programme is particularly promising.

Experiments included

On Thursday, 29 January, participants will take a look at smartphones, flanked by experiments. The focus of several programme items from the Environmental Sciences will be on the important resource of water, also supported by experiments. How Physics becomes technology can be experienced by building your own small radar, among other things.

The meeting point on all three days of the event is the central lecture hall building in Konrad-Wachsmann-Allee 3 at 9 a.m. After the welcome and organisational information, participants will be guided to the laboratories by study orientation staff members and supervised during the workshops, which end at 3 p.m.
