KLĔB A SOL - The Cottbus Welcome Party

The Cottbus welcome festival "KLĔB A SOL" invites all new residents of Cottbus to the forecourt of Cottbus town hall to celebrate, discover and network with Cottbus residents, businesses, clubs and associations.

The event starts at 3 p.m. with a wide range of hands-on activities, a varied stage programme, a table football tournament and culinary offerings. BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg will again be represented with several stands.

What to expect

Meeting Place – as diverse as the city itself

Discover, try things out, strike up a conversation. Meet initiatives, clubs and organisations that showcase what Cottbus has to offer – from sport and science to culture, community engagement and business.

The stage is set for Cottbus – a programme as colourful as the city itself

From international performances to the Annemarie Polka, from young talents to established acts. Among those taking part are the Cottbus Children’s Musical, the Femella Dance Studio, the Tanzhaus Lausitz and many more – there’s something for everyone.

With welcoming addresses from Cottbus’s Mayor Tobias Schick, the President of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg Prof. Dr Grande and the Board of Cottbus University Hospital MUL-CT, the KLĔB A SOL stage becomes a place where the city, academia and society visibly come together.

To round things off, the Cottbus band Superfuture will be performing live on the KLĔB A SOL stage, creating a real open-air atmosphere.

Things are getting serious (but only a little): the tournament is getting a professional upgrade in the 2026 World Cup year. Teams, excitement, atmosphere – feel free to register here in advance.
