4th Visionary Women’s Salon | Networking evening for women

The Visionärinnen*Salon brings together women in academia and beyond. As part of the FEM*Vision mentoring programme, the Salon evening offers interested women a platform to get to know one another (better), network, find collaboration or tandem partners, forge alliances, present current projects or new formats, and share their vision.

We warmly invite you to the 4th Visionary Women’s Salon, a meeting place for women in academia and beyond. Here, their stories, biographies, projects and ideas will be shared, with the aim of creating diverse female role models, empowering one another and raising the profile of women as a whole. Female researchers at all stages of their careers, as well as women from the business sector and civil society, can come together in this space designed by women for women to learn from one another and support each other.

Prof. Melanie Jaeger-Erben will be the guest speaker at the 4th Visionärinnen*Salon. Together with Birgit Hendrischke, project manager of the Professorinnenprogramm III, she will speak on the topic of “Relationships” and the manifold interconnections with ourselves, with others, with nature and with our environment. From this perspective, a core theme of the BTU, “transformation”, is understood not as a linear process, but as the result of complex interactions between social, material and institutional elements. Melanie Jaeger-Erben is researching how the deliberate reshaping of such relationships opens up new scope for addressing societal challenges.
During the get-together afterwards, you will have the opportunity to chat and exchange ideas with one another. We look forward to a stimulating evening and to your participation.
