Driving the energy transition: EIZ 2026’s third symposium

Around 120 experts from the fields of energy technology and the energy industry will meet on 2 June 2026 for the 3rd Annual Meeting of the Energy Innovation Centre (EIZ). There, they will discuss solutions for the energy transition. On 3 June, the EIZ will then host a specialist forum as part of the 26th Brandenburg Energy Day.

The Energy Innovation Centre (EIZ) has organised its third symposium. Around 120 experts from the fields of energy technology and Energy Economics will gather on 2 June 2026 in Building B2 on the campus of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg to discuss solutions for the energy transition. The event will also feature presentations on the latest research findings from the six EIZ research laboratories, as well as laboratory tours.

The following day (3 June 2026), the EIZ will host a specialist forum entitled “Transport and Distribution” as part of the 26th Brandenburg Energy Day. Two innovation tours will also take place, visiting the Energy Economics Lab (EECON Lab) and the Electric Power Systems Lab (EPS Lab).
