Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) would like to render transparent the manner in which data are used and show you when, and which, data are stored and how they are used. Technical Implementation

The BTU web servers are operated by the Information, Communication and Media Centre (IKMZ) IT Services Department. The IKMZ/Multimedia Centre supports the corresponding Web Content Management System TYPO3 and co-ordinates the various areas of the BTU web pages.

If you visit these or other BTU websites, you will forward data to our web server via your internet browser. The following data shall be temporarily recorded in a log file during an established link for communication between your internet browser and our web server.

The University Computing Centre does not group together the IP addresses stated in the log entries with other data sets such that it is possible for the University Computing Centre to draw conclusions about individual persons.

The forms incorporated in this website are used for different purposes to honour the BTU’s official tasks. With regard to the storage and processing of the personal data entered using a form, responsibility is held by the division or organisational unit of BTU that has commissioned the IKMZ/MMZ with the task of implementing and operating the respective form.

Our web site uses Cookies. These have two functions: On the one hand they are necessary for the fundamental functionality of our website. On the other by way of your approval, Cookies help us to constantly improve our content for you. To that end we operate the matomo software platform. Data, which are rendered anonymous, of website visitors are collected and evaluated in that respect.
