Boguslaw Malys elected Chairman of the DINI Board of Directors

The German Initiative for Network Information (DINI) elected a new board of directors at its annual meeting. Boguslaw Malys, head of the Multimedia Center at the Information, Communication and Media Center (IKMZ) at BTU, is the new chairman of the board.

On September 26 and 27, 2022, the joint 23rd DINI Annual Meeting and ZKI Autumn Meeting took place at the German National Library in Frankfurt/Main. During the meeting, DINI members elected a new Board and a new Main Committee for the term 2022-2024. Boguslaw Malys (Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg) will lead the umbrella organization of libraries, media institutions, and IT centers at universities and non-university research institutions as board chair. Dr. Peter Leinen of the German National Library is DINI's vice chairman of the board.

V. is the supraregional association of academic libraries, media institutions, computing centers and professional societies in research and education in Germany. DINI is a partner of universities and non-university research institutions in the further development of information infrastructures.
