Sustainable construction is the topic of the 27th Brandenburg Civil Engineering Conference

Brandenburg experts will talk about reducing CO2 emissions in construction on Friday, June 9, 2023.

Reducing CO2 emissions and saving energy are on everyone's lips. Scientists at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg are dedicated to these goals and show solutions for sustainable building. Concrete with up to 30 percent less cement, energetic retrofitting of buildings worth preserving, static retrofitting of structures are some of the topics of the conference. Competent sources will explain which subsidies are available for energy-saving measures and what framework conditions the Building Energy Act will create for us in the future.

Also 75 years of tradition in civil engineering education and in building research in Cottbus will be highlighted with a lecture. The lectures are intended to show solutions and give courage to shape the challenges in the construction industry.

When: Friday, June 9, 2023, 9:00 a.m.-3:45 p.m.
Where: BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, Cottbus Central Campus, Audimax 2.
