Sewing Workshop: Patchwork Basics

You want to learn the basics of patchwork technique?

Sewing Workshop: Patchwork Basics
Monday, Sept. 11 (5-8 p.m.)
COLab* at StartBlock B2

This textile workshop is entirely dedicated to patchwork. Patchwork means sewing small pieces of fabric together to create a whole new project. There are different techniques, which we will introduce to you in this workshop along with a few historical insights. In the practical part, you will start with your own project, such as a pillowcase or zipper bag, which you can then complete on your own at home or at our sewing meetings. Patchwork projects take a lot of time and patience, so this workshop is just an introduction to the subject.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is not suitable for beginners:inside, some basic sewing machine skills are required. Those who are familiar with the embroidery machine, upholstery machine or Overlook are welcome to use our machinery on their own. Children may attend only if accompanied by a person of legal age. We ask that families register together for a spot.
