4th chesco contact conference: Transformation through innovation
The Center for Hybrid Electric Systems Cottbus (chesco) is offering interested parties the opportunity to get to know the research factory at Wener-von-Siemens-Straße 7, find out about current developments and make valuable contacts at this conference from 8:30 am to 5 pm. To registration by October 1 is requested.
Program and highlights
The conference offers an extensive program that includes practical workshops, guided tours of the modern machinery at the chesco research factory and exciting keynote speeches from the business world. Participants will have the opportunity to take an in-depth look at topics such as agile manufacturing, metal 3D printing and cybersecurity in various workshops.
A special highlight of the event is the guided tour through the three newly opened production halls of the chesco research factory, which have been in operation since May 2024. Here, visitors will gain an insight into chesco's state-of-the-art production facilities and research activities. At chesco, the focus is on the development and testing of hybrid-electric and electric drive systems as well as prototype production. These manufacturing methods are not only important for the mobility sector, but also for numerous other industries.
Networking and collaboration
The contact conference also offers numerous opportunities to network and exchange ideas with representatives from science and industry. In a pitch round, companies will introduce themselves to each other and explore opportunities for collaboration. The conference aims to strengthen the transfer of knowledge between research, development and business and to further expand the innovative strength of the Lusatia region.
