The Newton Flight Academy Brandenburg offers a unique educational and experiential programme that aims to fund interest in aviation, science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM subjects). It was created in partnership with Boeing and FIRST Scandinavia and is operated by CHESCO GmbH in Cottbus. The Center for Hybrid Electric Systems Cottbus (CHESCO) is a unique centre for research into hybrid-electric and electric drives. The partners of the Newton Flight Academy Brandenburg are FIRST Scandinavia, Boeing, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) and the German Aerospace Centre (DLR)
