The project content varies greatly depending on the task.
Examples:

- Design and dimensioning of an inner-city excavation pit including the foundation for a new building
- New land reclamation on the North Sea
- Simulation of an excavation pit using FEM
- Planning a lock
- Foundations of offshore wind turbines
- Suction pipe foundations
- Foundations in permafrost
- ...

Depending on the task, the following specialist software can be used within the scope of the project:

- AutoCad, (drawing program)
- GGU, (program package for geotechnical calculations)
- ProV, (routing program)
- Plaxis (FEM program for geotechnical problems)
- Ansys, (FEM program)
- DC-Grundbau (program package for Soil Mechanics and Foundation / Geotechnical Engineering calculations)

3 Date

Consultation dates are assigned individually in consultation with the students.

4 Examination

Written project documentation with textual and pictorial explanations including scientific evidence (70%)

Oral project presentation (30%)
