Health Insurance (Electronic Student Registration Procedure [SMV])
According to 199a SGB V, there is a mutual obligation to report health insurance between health insurance companies and universities.
The health insurance companies report to the university the:
- Insurance status (M10)
- The start of new insurance when changing health insurance (M11)
- Delay in payment of health insurance fees (M12)
- Settlement of overdue health insurance fees (M13)
The university reports to the health insurance companies the:
- Start of degree and the day of enrolment (M20)
- The end of the semester and when the removal from the register of students took/takes place (M30)
To implement this reciprocal notification procedure, the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg will use the electronic student notification procedure from the 01.01.2022 - from this time on, paper form notifications will no longer be accepted.
