Future technologies from current BTU research at E-world energy & water

E-world energy & water, which takes place in Essen from 11-13 February 2025, is the leading trade fair and meeting place for the European Energy Economics sector. As an information platform for the energy sector, E-world brings together international decision-makers in Essen every year. Almost a fifth of the exhibiting companies have their headquarters abroad. The majority of international exhibitors come from European Union countries.

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg will be represented for the first time with a stand at the joint stand of the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region and will present the Energy Innovation Centre (EIZ). As a bridge between science and industry, the EIZ with over 80 scientists from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is developing innovative solutions and technologies for the climate-neutral energy system of the future together with an interdisciplinary partner network. The focus is on excellent research, industry-oriented technology development and training and further education programmes for business and science. The aim of the trade fair appearance is to raise the profile of the research centre, establish contacts with companies and build up start-ups. A visit to the trade fair opens up the prospect of establishing and developing further new specialist contacts, networks and cooperation opportunities for the current research project or further joint projects.

The trade fair is open from 11-12 February 2025 from 9 am to 6 pm and on 13 February 2025 from 9 am to 5 pm.
