Future technologies from current BTU research at the Interbattery in Seoul

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg will be exhibiting at Interbattery in Seoul for the first time from 5-7 March 2025. The university is the driving force in the structural change region of Lusatia, using scientific expertise to develop practical solutions for the upcoming transformation processes, in particular in the areas of energy, sustainability and decarbonisation. With its Physical Chemistry chair, the university has particular expertise in the recycling and recovery of battery materials and battery raw materials from lithium-ion batteries. Using state-of-the-art chemical and material analysis methods, new processes and process steps are being developed for industrial use in order to return high-quality recyclates to the material cycle.
