There are various further training courses on the subject of Fire Protection throughout Germany, but not specifically for the field of fire investigation. As experienced fire investigators are increasingly retiring due to their age and there is therefore already a high deficit of experts at all levels, the aim of this training course is to close this gap.

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is playing a key role in the 3rd Structural Change Conference of the Lignite Regions, which will take place in Hoyerswerda from 26 to 27 November 2025. The focus will be on expert discussions, interactive workshops and forward-looking impulses for structural change in the lignite mining regions.
