DAK company run - We were there!

2,864 runners and walkers took part in the DAK company run in Cottbus on 11 September 2025 in perfect running weather. BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg was also strongly represented with 78 employees and students and showed that exercise, team spirit and the joy of shared experiences are very important at BTU.

After a joint warm-up, all runners started the 4.5-kilometre lap along the green banks of the Spree in the beautiful Puschkinpark. In the team category, BTU achieved a sensational second place out of 771 teams of three with Martin Behm (15:57), Matthias Behm (17:11) and Ludwig Scharf (17:50); our fastest women were Wiete Tattermusch (18:38), Smilla Kuhnt (19:36) and Irina Adjemian (22:09).

The company run is a highlight every year, where it's not just the athletic performance that counts, but also the socialising and interaction away from work and study.

We are already looking forward to the next company run and would like to thank everyone who took part and cheered on our BTU team!
